Store cannabis products in childproof packaging, in a locked place away from sight and reach. Children can easily ingest cannabis products by accident, especially in edible form (brownies or baked goods, for example). Following legalization in Colorado, the number of children who had to visit the hospital emergency room after using cannabis almost doubled.
