About

L'Équipe psycho-sociale de SDG (Stormont, Dundas, Glengarry) is a francophone non-profit organization based in Cornwall and Alexandria that offers:

  • Mental health services for children, youth and their families
  • Services for adults living with intellectual disabilities
  • Early childhood programming through its ON y va center
  • Mental health and support services for women experiencing violence
  • Mental health services for men who are survivors of sexual violence

As a proud member of the IDEA Community Coalition, l’Équipe psycho-sociale de SDG is committed to promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, anti-oppression, and Truth and Reconciliation. We collaborate with local organizations and agencies to address systemic barriers and create lasting change. By focusing on community equity, continuous learning, inclusive practices, policy evaluation, and data-driven accountability, we strive to foster a more inclusive and just community for everyone.

Our History

L’Équipe psycho-sociale pour enfants, adolescents et familles de SDG was incorporated on October 11, 1979, and our services were launched in August 1980. L’Équipe was created to fill a gap in mental health services for francophone families in the region, and gradually expanded to offer the current range of services.
